We made the leap 'across the pond' on February 5 and I am now starting to feel at home. There were so many moving parts to moving abroad: navigating the visa application process; selling our home and packing up life in Canada; exploring London and choosing the community we wanted to live in; letting a flat; learning about the UK school system, how it works, and applying for school places; and, integrating into a new culture that is similar to Canada but still has subtle but obvious differences. What an adventure! 

The purpose of this website and blog is to document our journey while sharing our experiences with family and friends. Be warned: I will likely inundate your feeds with photos of the places we explore, the food we eat, and the quirky things we find amusing (that might be slightly off colour).
